MEXICO CITY
2008
Decoration based on the London Chelsea style that covers the 1950s to 1970s. Taking as a principle the risk of using bold colors and textures but with a relaxed and chic atmosphere, within the current bohemian context of the Roma neighborhood in Mexico City in one of its most representative buildings French cut from 1922. It is a rather narrow house with historical features totally hidden, yet retaining a wide-range of possibilities as somewhere in which to live. Highlighting patterns of shapes and backgrounds to add a feeling of energy and elegance. The attributes of Balmori Decor were enhanced by dressing them with a new elegance quite eccentric, looking for a definite and contemporary style through his eclecticism, that does not forget the history of the client based on family attachments, textures, volumes and materials . Also for decoration we used vintage furniture from flea markets.
