A complete redesign of the gas station and car wash in La Paz, Laguna Hills, California. 

 

The challenge of this project was to transform a 1990s building into an Italian villa, conserving the enormous octagonal skylight. We wanted to create a cozy atmosphere in the café for customers to check their emails, read a book, or just relax while waiting for their car to be washed. Our playful Italian villa concept uses new materials, lighting, and a bright, complementary color scheme.
