The Embassy was previously decorated as the Irish ambassadors’ official residence. This interior design concept was based on integrating some objects and furniture that appealed to the personal tastes of the then ambassador and his family during their posting. We added a couple of oriental carpets, oil paintings and some other art works; we repositioned some decorative elements and reupholstered furniture in the sitting and dining rooms; and we also repainted the walls to give the house a fresh new look.
